Problem Description

VGDA time stamp error during cluster synchronization.

Error

A corrective action is available for the condition reported below:

WARNING: The HACMP timestamp file for shared volume group: vg_rg01 is inconsistent
with the time stamp in the VGDA for the following nodes:
nodeB

To correct the above condition, run verification & synchronization with
"Automatically correct errors found during verification?" set to either ‘Yes’
or ‘Interactive’. The cluster must be down for the corrective action to run.

Corrective actions can be enabled for Verification and Synchronization in the HACMP
extended Verification and Synchronization SMIT fastpath “cl_sync”.

1. Varyoff and Export VG with time stamp problems.

# varyoffvg vg_rg01

# exportvg vg_rg01

2. Automatically Import Volume Group though C-SPOC

smit hacmp -> Extended Configuration -> Extended Resource Configuration -> HACMP Extended Resource Group Configuration -> Change/Show Resources and Attributes for a Resource Group - > [RG_NAME]
